What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a treatment that can be applied to various areas of the face and body using a microneedling device that resembles a large pen. A microneedling pen creates microchannels with tiny sterile needles. The micro-injuries, or microchannels, stimulate the body’s natural healing response. Am I a good candidate for Microneedling?
Microneedling is appropriate for most skin types. Your aesthetician will decide if you are a suitable candidate for microneedling before your appointment. Your MAD Skin aesthetician can also help you establish a treatment plan to accomplish your aesthetic goals.
When will I see results after Microneedling?
Most MAD Skin clients note a brighter complexion a few hours to days after treatment. After three to five months, you’ll see significant improvement in skin texture and tone.
How many treatments will I need?
Some MAD Skin clients are happy after one microneedling treatment and choose to schedule their appointments as needed. However, most clients need three to four treatments, separated by six to eight weeks. Clients tackling deep wrinkles, photo-aging, stretch marks, or acne scarring may see significant improvement after several treatments.
