Dermaplaning is a treatment that effectively removes dead skin cells and fine hair (peach fuzz) from the face. A Dermaplaning treatment exfoliates with a small sterile surgical blade. Dermaplaning prepares the skin for medical-grade skincare or other skincare treatments. It can also be a stand-alone treatment for smoother makeup application and better absorption of skincare products.

Dermplaning is an effective and painless procedure. Using a sterile surgical blade, your skilled aesthetician will gently scrape dead skin cell buildup and fine hair, or peach fuzz, from the face. By removing this layer of skin cells and hair from the skin, skincare and other facial services can better penetrate the skin.

If you get a Dermaplaning treatment on its own, you will both see and feel results immediately after your appointment. If this treatment is given as an add-on before other treatments, those treatments will be more effective at penetrating the skin.

We recommend a Dermaplaning appointment every four weeks or before other facial treatments to allow for better absorption of the products—schedule a reoccurring Dermaplaning appointment to maintain results.
